Know how to check your skin

Regular skin checks are important, but about 6 out of 10 of us don’t check our own skin because we don’t know what to look for!

If you would like a healthcare professional to show you how to check your skin, you can always book an initial skin check with your doctor.

Ideally you should carry out regular skin checks yourself at home, once a month, looking out and feeling for any areas that have changed over time. Why not check your partner’s skin and get them to check yours too? If you do notice a patch which you think might have changed it’s a good idea to take a photo of it and re-check it over time.
